The concept that something so simple can make so much of a difference with such an easy to make change. One can notice them on the iPhone and iPad. Apple smoothens their corners both on the hardware and software level, making the whole ecosystem feel cohesive and gentle. π2day (March 2026) URL: https://ja.mt/work/pi2day Pi is the number you get when you divide a circle's circumference by its diameter. Their first product was Arc, a browser that rethought how people interact with the internet. Their second is Dia, an AI-first browser. I haven't opened mine in years. The whole idea was a tax on speed. You'd hit a shortcut, the screen blurred, a window opened with every app you owned scattered across pages, and you'd scroll or click your way to the one you wanted. Something about absolute perfection and precision, needing to be created out of a mathematical formula that will span decades of growth and advancements. Because design isn't something you just casually "do". You don't get into it like learning guitar chords off YouTube or deciding you want to bake a cake.
